Santa Ana lies just North of the John Wayne / Orange County Airport and just South of the City of Anaheim. The John Wayne Airport (SNA), owned and operated by the County of Orange is the only commercial service airport in Orange County, California. It is located approximately 35 miles south of Los Angeles, between the cities of Costa Mesa, Irvine, Newport Beach and Santa Ana. The service area includes 3 million people within the 34 cities and unincorporated areas of Orange County. If you are flying into John Wayne Airport, it takes about 20-40 minutes to get to your hotel in Anaheim, depending on traffic. Santa Ana or Costa Mesa hotels are very convenient to the airport and While there are no Golf Trail Courses in the City of Santa Ana, you are just a few minutes from Tustin Ranch Golf Course to the South East and Strawberry Farms Golf Course to the South.
Strawberry Farms Golf Course is South of the Airport off the 405 (Exit University Ave, head West to the first light and left into the course). Strawberry Farms was Built by Doug DeCinces, former California Angel third baseman. The Golf Course is a true test of your skill with demanding fairways and small greens. |

Tustin Ranch is a Ted Robinson layout with room in the fairways but tiered and tricky greens... a classic layout that is a pleasure to play, especially if you are a higher handicapper. If you are looking for a real treat, Tustin Ranch is the only Anaheim Golf Course which provides a caddie service!
